Instructor: Alex Bishop-Thorpe (Assisted by Aurelia Carbone)

An introduction to pinhole photography and mucking about inside a Real Life Darkroom for a day. Pre-built cameras will be provided in the morning to whet your appetite, followed by building some good old fashioned tin can cameras in the afternoon. A great introduction to the darkroom and a taste of wet processing, suitable for complete beginners or more experienced photographers who may not have taken a photo with a Milo can before. Not too much maths, but lots of making.

Detailed technical handouts will be provided, as well as all equipment and materials, tea, coffee, snacks and lunch.
