A two day weekend introduction to the cult classic Holga plastic lens camera and Crash Courses A & B in Darkroom practice. Participants will be shown the ins-and-outs of the Holga, including camera techniques for special analogue effects, and lots of information for shooting in black and white and colour. Participants will learn how to load, shoot and develop their own film, followed by a day of printing their negatives by hand in the darkroom. All film, paper and chemistry provided, and a Holga 120N camera and a selection of 120 film that’s yours to keep. No assumed knowledge, a great introduction to the darkroom and wet process. Detailed technical handouts will be provided.
